Cakehashi-no-co（架けハシの子）
現代アーティスト。
2001年沖縄県生まれ。名桜大学観光産業専攻卒業。
高校時代にフォトコラージュ集を作成し、以後独学で表現活動を開始。写真、言葉、工業製品などの多様なメディアを用い、視覚や自然現象、人間の無意識を主題に、コンセプチュアルアートやインスタレーション作品を展開。
作品のスタイルを「無意識から意識への架け橋」とし、日常に潜む感覚や既存の意識を解体・再構築する行為を通して制作を行う。

2022年にグループ展で作品を発表して以降、やんばるの美術展（YAMBARU ART FESTIVAL）やギャラリーでの展示など、県内を中心に精力的に作品を発表。
最新の代表作、個展『WHITE WHITE BOX 展』（2024）では、北海道での滞在経験をもとに、「白」という視覚的現象をめぐる感覚や認識の変化に着目したインスタレーション作品を展開。会場全体を白い素材で包み、中心には雪を模したオブジェを設置。雪が日々かたちを変える様子を、展示期間中もオブジェを毎日更新することで表現。また、白に包んだ無音空間に、音を加えるDJとのコラボレーションを実施。「白」が内包する静けさ、時間、音の吸収といった目に見えない現象や、視覚と聴覚の交差を空間化した。

Cakehashi-no-co
Contemporary Artists. Born in Okinawa Japan in 2001. Graduated from Meio university with a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Industry. During her high school years, she created a photo collage collection, which became the starting point for their self-taught artistic practice. Utilizing a variety of media—including photography, language, and industrial materials—she develop conceptual art and installation works that explore themes such as perception, natural phenomena, and the human unconscious. Describing their artistic style as a “bridge from the unconscious to the conscious,” she create through acts of deconstructing and reconstructing everyday sensations and established perceptions.
Since presenting her works in a group exhibition in 2022, she has actively exhibited throughout Okinawa, including at the Yambaru Art Festival and various galleries.
In their latest solo exhibition, WHITE WHITE BOX (2024), inspired by her experience living in Hokkaido, she focused on the sensory and perceptual shifts surrounding the visual phenomenon of “white.” The installation transformed the entire exhibition space into an environment enveloped in white materials, with a snow-like sculpture placed at its center. The sculpture was updated daily throughout the exhibition to reflect the changing forms of snow. Additionally, she collaborated with a DJ to introduce sound into the otherwise silent, white space—spatially expressing the invisible phenomena inherent in “white,” such as stillness, time, and the absorption of sound, while exploring the intersection of vision and hearing.
